Mexican-American War

A. This battle happened in 1846

B. The U.S.A had 13,283 casualties, where as Mexico had 25,000 casualties.

C. The United States Was considered the winner.

D. The outcome was that Mexico gave the United States their Northern Territories such as California, New Mexico, and parts of Northern Mexico.


How Did The Civil War End?
The surrender happened with General Lee's troops were surrounded by Grant's trooops on April 7th, and Grant called on Lee to surrender. On April 9th, 1865, the two General's met and discussed the terms of surrender. Grant offered Lee that the confederates only had to give up their weapons and leave peace, this was considered generous. The CIvil war was no considered O.V.E.R.
